ADVENTURE CLEAN UP CHALLENGE
HONG KONG

2019 EDITION TEAMS!

Yes, 6 teams make up for this year’s challenge; each one of them with great stories to tell, and amazing people.

Hikers, kayakers, sailors, and other outdoor enthusiasts make up for the almost 60 people competing for the prize. What do they all have in common? Their love for nature, adventure, and the commitment to bring about change.

Formed in 2018 by Liza Avelino, Filipino Dynamos represents the hopes and ambitions of each of its members. Overcoming bias and difficult circumstances these women have created something unique to the dragonboat racing scene in Hong Kong. In a short span, the Dynamos have through their grit, determination and hard work been able to grab eyeballs, win races and make themselves, their community, their home country and their second home in Hong Kong proud.

Hailing from Siberia to the Canary Islands, the agave fields of Jalisco to the mists of Angel Falls and the wilds of Patagonia, we are a group who share a common passion and care for mother earth, and are dedicated to helping to save Hong Kong's coastline.

Outward Bound courses use the great outdoors as a classroom to inspire people to discover their full potential.  Having a indivisible relationship with the ocean, it is important that we play our part and go even further by encouraging our staff, participants and supporters to respect the marine environment so that the future generations of paddlers can enjoy the same experience that we enjoy at the moment.

"We’re in business to save our home planet." At Patagonia, the protection and preservation of the environment isn’t what we do after hours. It’s part of our everyday work. This is why we are happy and honoured to contribute to the Adventure Clean Up Challenge, which combines outdoor sport activities and environmental protection to inspire more Hong Kong people to pay more attention and care for our local environment.

We very pleased to be involved in such a worthwhile initiative as the Adventure Clean-up Challenge. Giving back to the communities where we live and work is a key priority for J.P. Morgan.  And along with taking action to clean up the Hong Kong’s coast,  this initiative will also help raise awareness and empower communities to become active agents in maintaining and preserving our beautiful coasts.

HKOutsiders are an eclectic group of outdoor enthusiasts based in Hong Kong. We are out exploring most weekends engaging in various outdoor activities from canyoning and climbing in the Mountains to coasteering around the fabulous coastline.
